GPVSB offers use of our video/teleconferencing equipment at our office during regular business hours (8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)  The room can accommodate 10 people classroom style, or 20 people theatre style.  Please contact us at 780-538-2727 to inquire as to cost and availablility.

Videoconferencing Etiquette

  • Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the videoconference start time to register.
  • Assume that you are always on camera, even when you are not speaking.
  • Avoid wearing black, white, plaids, stripes, or prints as they may interfere with the contrast levels and transmission compression. Simple, solid, and warm colours are best!
  • Our microphone is very sensitive - speak normally and avoid side conversations with it is not muted.
  • Act natural and relax. Videoconferencing is like being face to face at a meeting and encourages interaction. Body language and facial expressions count, so be yourself!
